Middleborough Police Arrest and Charge Brighton Woman with Trafficking Methamphetamine

MIDDLEBOROUGH — Police Chief Robert Ferreira reports that the Middleborough Police Department arrested a Brighton woman on drug charges, including trafficking methamphetamine.

OLIVIA NOEMI FOLSOM, AGE 49, of BRIGHTON, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with:

  • Trafficking in 18 Grams or More of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Class B Drug

FOLSOM also had an active warrant for her arrest out of Wareham District Court for failure to appear in court.

On Wednesday, Aug. 20, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Officer Corey Bailey and Field Training Officer (FTO) Owen Carrel learned that a guest at a hotel on East Clark Street had an active warrant for her arrest.

Officer Bailey, FTO Carrel, and Officer Sophia Barnard served the warrant to FOLSOM, who was taken into custody without incident.

As a result of an on-scene investigation, officers located about 34 grams of methamphetamine, a small plastic bag containing crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

FOLSOM was arraigned on Wednesday in Wareham District Court and ordered held on $2,500 bail.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
