Bedford Police Charge Driver and Homeowner in Connection to Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash on Wallace Road

BEDFORD — Chief Daniel Douidi reports that following a lengthy investigation, the Bedford Police has charged two individuals in connection with a fatal motor vehicle crash on Wallace Road in June.

On Sunday, June 8, at about 8:15 p.m., Bedford Police were dispatched to the area of Wallace Road and Stagecoach Lane for reports that a male had jumped out of a moving vehicle.

The passenger, identified as Tyson Bolduc, was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver, a 17-YEAR-OLD MALE, remained on scene and cooperated with police. A preliminary investigation determined that there was an open container of alcohol located inside the vehicle. Through a field sobriety test and a toxicology report, police determined that the driver did not have any substances in his system at the time of the crash.

The 17-YEAR-OLD MALE has been charged with the Transportation of Alcohol and Open Container.

A subsequent investigation also determined that Bolduc and the 17-YEAR-OLD MALE had earlier attended a party at a private residence where underage drinking occurred.

The homeowner, identified as HEATHER KEEGAN, AGE 55, of BEDFORD, has been charged with Facilitating an Underage Alcohol Party. KEEGAN is scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack District Court on Sept. 9.

Bedford Police remind residents and the public that providing alcohol to minors is illegal, dangerous, and potentially fatal. Adults who host or allow underage drinking will be held accountable.

“This remains a tragic incident, and we extend our deepest sympathies to the families involved during this difficult time. We are committed to ensuring justice is served and that we continue to work with schools, parents, and community partners to prevent another senseless tragedy,” said Chief Douidi.
