BEDFORD — Chief Daniel Douidi reports that the Bedford Police Department and law enforcement partners conducted a welfare check at a home on Palomino Lane on Wednesday evening with support from a regional SWAT team.
On Wednesday, July 23, a caller informed Bedford Police Department that an incident may have taken place at a residence on Palomino Lane. Bedford patrol officers were unable to make contact with anyone inside the residence to ascertain the wellbeing of the individual believed to be inside.
After numerous attempts to contact the homeowner and an assessment of the situation, the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit (SNHSOU) Team was contacted for tactical assistance. The neighborhood was secured.
After numerous unsuccessful attempts to make contact with the homeowner by the SNHSOU Team, police obtained a search warrant and were able check on the wellbeing of individuals inside.
The Investigation is ongoing at this time and there is no threat to the public. Additional information will be released as appropriate.
