MIDDLEBOROUGH — Chief Robert Ferreira is proud to report that two new recruits have graduated from the Randolph Police Academy and joined the Middleborough Police Department.
Corey B. Bailey and Victoria J. O’Day, both Middleborough residents, graduated from the 21st Recruit Officer Class of the Randolph Police Academy on Friday, June 13, after a ceremony at UMass Boston.
They were both appointed to the Police Department by the Middleborough Select Board on Monday evening, effective June 16.
Bailey graduated from Middleborough High School in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University in 2015 with a major in history and a minor in business.
O’Day graduated from East Bridgewater Jr./Sr. High School in 2019 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University in 2023 with a major in criminal justice.
“We are pleased to welcome Officers Bailey and O’Day to the Police Department,” Chief Ferreira said. “I admire their commitment to serve our community and wish them success as they begin their career in law enforcement.”
The recruits started the Field Training Program on Monday, June 16.
