CARVER — Chief Marc Duphily reports that the Carver Police Department arrested a Marion man on an open and gross lewdness charge Saturday following an investigation.
JOHN SENNA, AGE 36, of MARION, was arrested and charged with:
- Open and Gross Lewdness
On Friday, June 20, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Carver Police received a report of a male exposing himself and performing a lewd act at the beach at Sampson’s Pond on Lakeview Street.
Officers responded to the area but learned that the suspect had left.
Carver Police issued an alert to area law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the suspect, and within 25 minutes, the suspect was located by Marion Police and identified.
Following a thorough investigation by Carver Police, officers sought and received an arrest warrant for SENNA. He was taken into custody at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
SENNA is expected to be arraigned Monday in Wareham District Court.
