Attleboro Fire Department Responds to Serious Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 95

ATTLEBORO — Chief Scott T. Lachance reports that the Attleboro Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash on Interstate 95 on Thursday morning that left the operator with life-threatening injuries.

On Thursday, June 19, at approximately 9:51 a.m., Attleboro Fire responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on I-95 south near the Rhode Island state line.

Upon arrival, first responders located the motorcycle and its operator approximately 500 feet from the apparent point of impact with another vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by Attleboro Rescue 2 paramedics to a nearby trauma center. The victim’s condition is not immediately available.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was not injured.

The Pawtucket Fire Department also responded to the scene.

The left and center lanes remain closed while investigators process the scene.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
