Wareham Public Schools Celebrate Student Creativity and Talent at Annual ‘Let’s Glow!’ Art Show

WAREHAM — Superintendent ​Dr. Matthew D’Andrea and Principal Scott Palladino are pleased to share the success of the annual Wareham High School (WHS) Art Show, “Let’s Glow!”

Held on Thursday, May 8, the “Let’s Glow!” event was a vibrant celebration of student creativity, collaboration and community spirit that brought the Wareham school community together for an evening highlighting the diverse talents of WHS students.

The halls of WHS were illuminated with remarkable artwork, glowing installations and interactive exhibits that drew enthusiastic praise from guests.

The evening featured:

  • A gallery of student art, showcasing a wide range of media and creativity
  • Culinary creations prepared by students in the Culinary Arts program
  • Live music performed by the WHS Jazz Band
  • Acting vignettes from the Viking Theater Company, offering a sneak peek of their upcoming play, “Ride the Cyclone”
  • Face painting by members of the National Honor Society
  • Interactive poetry-writing experiences led by the Poetry Club
  • Colorful chalk murals and handmade items for sale in the school courtyard, presented by the Art Club

“The creativity, passion and talent of our students never ceases to amaze me, and this year’s art show was a powerful reminder of that,” Superintendent D’Andrea said. “Thank you to our dedicated staff for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring event to showcase the many talents of our students.”
