Stoneham Police Department Investigating Breaking and Entering at Restaurant

STONEHAM — Police Chief James O’Connor reports that the Stoneham Police Department is investigating a breaking and entering at a restaurant on Franklin Street.

STONEHAM — Police Chief James O’Connor reports that the Stoneham Police Department is investigating a breaking and entering at a restaurant on Franklin Street.

On Tuesday, April 8, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Stoneham Police Department was notified of a break-in at the Fusion Taste restaurant at 19 Franklin St.

A preliminary investigation determined that an individual broke into the restaurant at approximately 3:40 a.m., and stolen both cash and merchandise. How the individual gained access to the restaurant remains under investigation. 

Stoneham Police obtained video surveillance of the suspect inside the restaurant, and detectives are hoping members of the public can help to identify the individual seen in the footage. 

Anyone with information on this incident, or anyone who believes they can identify this suspect, is asked to call the Stoneham Police Anonymous Tip Line at 781-832-0292. Callers can remain anonymous.
