West Newbury Police, Fire Respond to Single-Vehicle Crash

WEST NEWBURY — Chief Michael Dwyer reports that the West Newbury Police and Fire Departments responded to a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning.

On Monday, March 31, at approximately 7:46 a.m., West Newbury Police and Fire/Rescue responded to the area of 107 Middle St in the area of Beaver Brook. Upon arrival, first responders located a truck that appeared to have crashed into a guard rail and was partially submerged. 

The driver was transported to an area hospital. 

Mutual aid was provided by Atlantic Ambulance, West Newbury Department of Public Works, and the Department of Environmental Protection. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation by West Newbury Police.
