NEW LONDON — Superintendent John Fortney and Athletic Director Taylor Lipinski are pleased to share that senior Tori Wooten has been named Kearsarge Regional High School’s (KRHS) student-athlete of the month for March.
Kearsarge student-athletes of the month are seniors who are qualified NHIAA “Scholar Athletes,” accumulating a B+ or equivalent GPA over their time at KRHS and actively participating in two or more sports offerings. These athletes consistently demonstrate commitment to their programs, care for their teammates and peers, and are competing at their highest potential.
Student-athletes are chosen each month through collaborative efforts of the entire athletic team.
Wooten is a two-sport athlete, participating in field hockey and lacrosse. She is described as a vocal and energetic leader, both on and off the field, having an unwavering commitment to her community.
“Wooten will always be someone her peers and younger classmates look up to. Whether it is on the field or in the crowd, she leads by example in doing things the right way,” said Athletic Director Lipinski. “It is well deserved as we are excited to see what is to come for her in her future ventures!”
