HANSON — The Town of Hanson announces that it has launched a new website devoted to its annual budgeting process, providing a wealth of information so that community members may be more fully informed about the municipal budget process.

HANSON — The Town of Hanson announces that it has launched a new website devoted to its annual budgeting process, providing a wealth of information so that community members may be more fully informed about the municipal budget process.

The Town of Hanson’s Official Budget Information Portal includes a number of easy-to-use features, including:

  • A regularly updated calendar of board and committee meetings related to budget development, including the Select Board, Finance Committee, and School Committee, as well as Town Meetings, elections, and community information sessions
  • Access to recordings of meetings
  • Presentations and documents regarding budget preparation.
  • Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the Town, School, Police, and Fire budgets
  • A budget calculator that will allow property owners to estimate their tax bills for the coming year’s budget

Community members may also sign up to receive regular email updates on the budget and ask budget questions directly to Hanson’s municipal leaders.
