WAKEFIELD — Wakefield Police are currently investigating a double shooting incident on Lakeshore Drive, off of Main Street.
Preliminary investigation indicates that this appears to be an isolated incident and that the victims were targeted.
Wakefield residents are asked to avoid the area.
This is an active scene and there will be a significant law enforcement presence in the area this evening.
Additional information will be released as it becomes appropriate.
