The Gloucester Police Department, Gloucester District Court, and City of Gloucester leaders will celebrate the completion of a major project that saw both the Gloucester Police station and Gloucester District Court renovated.
The project began in 2023 with renovations to the first floor of the station. Gloucester Police temporarily moved to the building’s second floor during the renovation, with Gloucester District Court moving operations to Peabody.
Police returned to the building’s renovated first floor in July 2024, and renovations of the second floor began.
This ribbon-cutting will celebrate the completion of both phases of the project, and the return of Gloucester District Court to the city.
