HULL — The following is a statement from South Shore Educational Collaborative Executive Director Michael Losche and Hull Public Schools Superintendent Michael Jette:

“Earlier today, allegations were brought to the attention of the South Shore Educational Collaborative (SSEC) concerning a paraprofessional employed full-time in a Collaborative program housed at Hull High School. The allegations involve inappropriate relationships between the paraprofessional and students enrolled in Hull High School.

“Consistent with our policies and procedures, SSEC administration notified Hull Public Schools administration, and a joint investigation was launched. The Collaborative immediately placed the staff member on leave.

“The Hull Police Department was also notified and launched its own investigation, and the Collaborative and Hull Public Schools are cooperating with the Hull Police Department. The Collaborative and HPS are also cooperating with the Department of Children and Families, which is also investigating this matter.”
