ACTON — The Town of Acton is pleased to share that the Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with MetroWest Legal Services, will host a monthly housing legal clinic beginning in January and extending through December 2026.

Housing Legal Clinic appointments will begin on Jan. 14 and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4-6 p.m. at the Human Service and Senior Center, 30 Sudbury Rear Road.

Participants must complete a registration form, which can be found here, before attending a session.

The program, which is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, will run until Dec. 31, 2026.

The program was initiated to address community input urging support of residents’ tenancy in Acton. The sessions will aim to address residents’ questions about legal matters that will prevent evictions and foreclosures and address housing health-related concerns.

Representatives from MetroWest Legal Services will work in partnership with the Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services to address questions and assist residents in finding available resources.

For questions about this program please contact: tenantsupport@actonma.gov.
