BEDFORD — Chief Daniel Douidi reports that the Bedford Police Department officer who was shot during a struggle with a suspect early Saturday is recovering at home and is doing well.
He is identified as David Benway-Fongemie, age 24. He was hired on Sept. 9, 2024 with the Bedford Police Department.
The suspect, JARED MASSEUR, 40, LAST KNOWN TO RESIDE IN NASHUA, remains in custody is scheduled for arraignment at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Merrimack District Court.
