Stoughton Police partnered with the Stoughton Recreation Department, Maxx Training Center for the Martial Arts and IKEA for the spooktacular.

The haunted happening sees the station booking area, jail cells, breakroom and vehicle bay decked out in various Halloween decorations. Visitors, accompanied by Stoughton Police officers, take a tour through the haunted landscape.

A lights-on, scaled-down version for those with sensory sensitivities also was held.

“This is always a fun event, and we enjoy hosting the community each year for ‘Nightmare on Rose Street,’ ” Deputy Chief Nathan Derby said.

The Stoughton Police Department wants to thank the many volunteers and community members who helped put on the event. It also thanks Lt. Jay Owens for his efforts in making sure Haunted Station went off without a hitch.
