Carver Police, Fire and EMS Departments Respond to Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

CARVER — Police Chief Marc Duphily, Fire Chief Craig Weston and EMS Chief Michael Ryan report that the Carver Police, Fire and EMS Departments responded Friday to a serious motor vehicle crash. 

On Friday, Oct. 11, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Carver Police, Fire and EMS Departments were called to the intersection of Meadow Street and Rochester Road for a report of a crash.

First responders arrived to discover a collision between a truck and a motorcycle. 

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening. A juvenile passenger who was on the motorcycle was transported by medical helicopter to a regional trauma center with serious injuries.

The truck driver was not hurt and remained at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Carver Police Department, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section. 

No additional details are being released at this time.
