BEDFORD — Chief Daniel Douidi reports that Bedford Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving pedestrians over the weekend.
On Saturday, Oct. 5 at approximately 6:48 p.m., Bedford Police were dispatched to the intersection of S. River Road and Harvey Road for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers located three adults who were suffering from what were believed to be non-serious injuries after being struck by a 2022 Red Ford Escape.
The driver of the Ford Escape remained on scene. All three individuals were transported by Bedford Fire to an area hospital for evaluation.
A preliminary investigation determined that the three pedestrians were at fault for crossing the roadway, which was not equipped with a crosswalk or lights.
This incident remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department.
