
BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher D. Delmonte is pleased to announce that the Bridgewater Police Department will host a women’s self-defense class.
WHEN:
Monday, Sept. 23, and Monday, Sept. 30, from 6-8:30 p.m.
WHERE:
Bridgewater Sports Complex, 350 Bedford St., Bridgewater
WHAT:
“Introduction to Women’s Self-Defense” is an interactive, progressive two-week course instructed by Retired Bridgewater Police Capt. Carl H. MacDermott III and Bridgewater Police Lt. Scott R. Hile.
Women ages 15 and older are encouraged to sign up and learn the best techniques to protect themselves through demonstrations and interactions between students and their instructors.
The course costs $25, with all proceeds going to the Bridgewater Police Foundation.
