CARVER — The Carver Police Department is investigating after a serious crash involving a motorcycle operator and a car Tuesday morning.
At approximately 10:35 a.m., Carver Police responded to the intersection of South Meadow Road and Ward Street for a report of a crash.
Upon arrival, officers located the motorcycle operator, a 69-year-old Carver man, who was seriously injured. The man was taken by a Carver EMS ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth and was subsequently flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital.
The driver of the car, a 75-year-old Carver woman, remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.
The man was driving a 1990 Harley Davidson motorcycle and the woman was driving a 2022 Toyota Camry.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Carver Police Department with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision and Accident Reconstruction Section (CARS).
The Carver Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
