Reading Police Arrest and Charge Two Individuals with Operating Under the Influence

MICHAEL FASULO, AGE 53, of SOUTH WEYMOUTH, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • OUI Liquor
  • License not in Possession 

SHERRI BANKS, AGE 58, of SOUTH WEYMOUTH, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • OUI Liquor

On Aug. 24, at approximately 6:42 p.m., Reading Police were dispatched to a gas station on Walkers Brook Drive for reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle leaving the gas station and stopped it. 

Through an initial investigation police identified the driver as BANKS, who was alone. Police later determined that FASULO had driven the car to the gas station with BANKS as a passenger.

Based on this information, Reading Police determined both BANKS and FASULO were operating under the influence.  

BANKS and FALUSO were arrested without incident and arraigned in Woburn District Court Aug. 26.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
