Hampton School District Welcomes New Principals to Centre School and Hampton Academy

HAMPTON — Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa is pleased to share that Marc Robitaille and Dr. Cornelius “Neal” Campbell have been named as the new principals of Centre School and Hampton Academy, and Amber Levine as Hampton Academy’s new Assistant Principal.

HAMPTON — Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa is pleased to share that Marc Robitaille and Dr. Cornelius “Neal” Campbell have been named as the new principals of Centre School and Hampton Academy, and Amber Levine as Hampton Academy’s new Assistant Principal.

The new principals began their roles on July 1. 

Marc Robitaille

Marc Robitaille has been named Principal of Centre School. He comes to the Hampton School District after serving as the Assistant Principal of Peter Woodbury School in Bedford since 2020.

He also has experience working as a fifth-grade teacher and on several professional committees at Lincoln Street School in Exeter. Robitaille holds a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and an education specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of New Hampshire.

Principal Robitaille and Assistant Principal Jamie Hayward invite parents and students to join them for meet and greet opportunities at the Centre School playground on Aug. 1 or Aug. 13 at 2 p.m.

Dr. Cornelius ‘Neal’ Campbell

Dr. Neal Campbell has been named Principal of Hampton Academy. He joined the team in Hampton after working as Assistant Principal of Alternative Programs at Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow since 2022. 

Before moving to New Hampshire, Dr. Campbell worked as a math teacher, special educator, and school administrator in middle and high schools in New York state and Hawaii. 

Dr. Campbell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adolescent Education: Mathematics, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He also holds several teaching and administrative certifications. 

Amber Levine

Amber Levine has been appointed as Hampton Academy’s Assistant Principal.

Levine has served for 16 years in the District as its Technology Director and as a Technology teacher at Marston School. 

As Technology Director, she led the development and implementation processes for the IT systems and department, facilitated audits, and oversaw the security of systems. As a technology teacher, she developed Computer Technology Curriculum for students in grades 3-5 and assessed student growth to ensure progress. 

Principal Dr. Campbell and Assistant Principal Levine will host a Community Coffee event on Aug. 6 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Hampton Academy Community Room to facilitate important relationships with parents and hear their thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for Hampton Academy. 

“We are excited to welcome Neal and Marc to our District,” said Dr. Costa. “Their previous experiences are sure to bring innovative and inspiring changes to their respective schools. Amber has been a dedicated member of our school community for 16 years, and I am confident she will excel in her new role as Hampton Academy’s Assistant Principal. Please join me in welcoming our new principals to Centre School and Hampton Academy!”
