TEWKSBURY – Chief Ryan Columbus is pleased to report that a missing senior citizen who prompted the department to issue a Silver Alert was located Sunday morning.
The missing woman was located in Candia, New Hampshire by New Hampshire State Police about 8 a.m. She had been missing from her home in Tewksbury since Saturday about 4 p.m., and had last been seen in surveillance images in Lawrence.
“I’d like to thank the Commonwealth Fusion Center and all of the other law enforcement agencies, as well as members of the public, who helped us successfully locate this individual,” said Chief Columbus. “This is why the Silver Alert program was established and it worked very well today.”
