He has worked hard throughout his career to get to this point and I am confident he will excel in this new role,” said Chief LaPlante. “The successful collaboration between Captain Beatrice and myself is a testament to his strong interpersonal skills and his ability to work effectively in a team. Together, through that teamwork, we can continue to move forward, creating an environment that inspires trust, teamwork and a quest for continuous, measurable improvement while accomplishing the department’s mission.”
Captain Beatrice began his career in Raynham as a special police officer in 2001 and has worked full-time for the Raynham Police Department since 2004. He received his associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Massasoit Community College in 2001, and in 2022, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Operations at Southern New Hampshire University. He is currently working towards his master’s degree.
Captain Beatrice has worked his way through the ranks of the Raynham Police Department, with his first promotion to Sergeant in March 2011.
