Medfield Middle and Elementary School Students Participate in MMEA Eastern District Treble Chorus Festival

MEDFIELD — Superintendent Jeff Marsden and Medfield Public Schools Director of Choral Ensembles Ann Marie Tremblay are pleased to share that students from Blake Middle School and Dale Street School participated in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association’s (MMEA) Eastern District Treble Chorus Festival this month.

MEDFIELD — Superintendent Jeff Marsden and Medfield Public Schools Director of Choral Ensembles Ann Marie Tremblay are pleased to share that students from Blake Middle School and Dale Street School participated in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association’s (MMEA) Eastern District Treble Chorus Festival this month.

On Saturday, May 18, 12 students in grades 4-6 participated at the Eastern District Treble Chorus festival that was held at Framingham High School. Family members, staff and fellow students also attended the festival.

Students were instructed by Director Kirsten Oberoi and performed Cantamos by James DesJardins, Everlasting Melody by Rollo Dilworth and two more selections. 

“The concert was an angelic experience for all family and friends,” said Blake Middle School Principal Nat Vaughn “Thank you, Mrs. Tremblay, for cultivating their enthusiasm and thank you, student musicians for representing Medfield in a beautiful and joyful way.”
