BROOKLINE — The Town of Brookline is seeking community feedback to guide its plans for the future of the Chestnut Hill Commercial Area.
The study will be led by the Economic Development & Long-Term Planning Division. It will examine opportunities for incentivizing net new commercial tax growth and enhancing the livability of the Chestnut Hill commercial area.
A Community Advisory Group, including members of key boards and committees in the Chestnut Hill community and surrounding neighborhoods, and chaired by Select Board Member Mike Sandman, will advise staff on the study process and recommendations.
“The area we’re studying gives us an opportunity to bring substantial new commercial development to Brookline in a way that takes the interests of the neighborhood’s residents into account,” Member Sandman said.
Residents and community members are encouraged to fill out this survey: https://arcg.is/1zDj1X0
