Plymouth Fire and Police Departments Experiencing Partial 911 Outage

For Emergencies Call 911 First, Then Call Police or Fire Dispatch Lines If You Experience Trouble Getting Through

Police – 508-746-1212
Fire – 508-746-2211

PLYMOUTH — Fire Chief Neil Foley and Police Chief Dana A. Flynn report that the Plymouth Fire and Police Departments are currently experiencing a partial outage to their 911 systems townwide, due to an issue with the State 911 system.

While this issue is ongoing, people may experience difficulties calling 911. However, there are still some 911 calls going through.

Residents are still encouraged to call 911 first in case of an emergency. If they are unable to reach someone calling 911, they should call the police or fire department dispatch lines directly and will be able to speak to someone.

  • Plymouth Police Dispatch – 508-746-1212
  • Plymouth Fire Dispatch – 508-746-2211

The cause of the issue is unknown at this time and it is unclear when the issue will be resolved. It is believed to be a larger issue with the State 911 system impacting other communities in the state. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
