CALENDAR LISTING: Town of Brookline to Host Pet Preparedness Event

BROOKLINE — The Brookline Office of Emergency Management, in collaboration with the Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services, would like to invite residents to a Pet Preparedness Event.

WHEN:

Thursday, April 25, at 11 a.m.

WHERE:

Brookline Senior Center, 93 Winchester St.

WHAT:

Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services and the Brookline Office of Emergency Management are collaborating to host a Pet Preparedness event to educate residents and community members about how to prepare themselves and their pets for emergencies.

Often people believe that during an emergency they cannot or do not have time to bring their pets with them. However, there may not be a safe time in an emergency to return home to rescue pets or retrieve needed supplies.

This event offers insight into how to plan ahead and come up with an emergency plan to keep residents and their pets safe.

This event is free to Brookline residents. To RSVP for the Pet Preparedness event call 617-730-2770.
