TAUNTON — Superintendent Alex Magalhaes and Vocational Technical Coordinator Jackie Machamer are pleased to announce that Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School’s Automotive Technology Program has earned re-accreditation from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
Bristol-Plymouth’s Automotive Technology Program was awarded Master Automobile Service Technology Re-Accreditation in February. This is the highest level of program accreditation recognized by ASE.
To achieve this recognition, the program underwent evaluation by the ASE Education Foundation and was judged using nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities, and equipment.
“We are thrilled to have received this positive report from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence,” said Superintendent Magalhaes. “This recognition is a testament to our program directors, teachers and staff who work hard to ensure that our programs meet strict industry standards.”
Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School’s Automotive Technology Program has had this distinction since its inception in 1972.
Accreditation renewal occurs every five years.
