TOWNSEND – Superintendent Brad Morgan is thrilled to announce that Ashley Rollins has been appointed as the North Middlesex head varsity softball coach.
She brings deep coaching knowledge from serving as an assistant softball coach and intramural basketball coach at Concord Public Schools as well as her past experience as a student athlete to her new role within the district.
Most recently, Rollins has served as a guidance counselor at the Spaulding Elementary School in the North Middlesex Regional School District since 2022.
Prior to her role at North Middlesex, she worked in the Concord Public Schools as a special education tutor and guidance counselor in 2018. Before her profession as a counselor, she served as an Applied Behavioral Learning Services Therapist at Nashoba Learning Group in 2015 as well as at North Middlesex back in 2012.
Rollins is a North Middlesex alum, having graduated in 2006. She attended Worcester State University as a four-year starter and two-year captain on the softball team and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Rollins graduated from both Assumption College and Fitchburg State University with a Master of Counseling in school guidance and adjustment counseling.
Her commitment to the school community extends beyond the field, as her husband is a member of the North Middlesex football coaching staff.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ashley as our new head coach,” said Superintendent Morgan. “We are confident that her passion, experience and dedication will contribute to the continued success of our varsity softball program.”
