BRIDGEWATER — Town Manager Michael Dutton and IT Director Brad Dzierzak are pleased to share a new online feature of the town’s website that allows residents to virtually request services or get help fixing issues.

SeeClickFix allows residents to submit online a variety of non-emergency issues they may observe in Town. Issues that can be reported through the system include but are not limited to debris in the road, potholes, sidewalk issues, snow/ice issues, water issues and more.

To report an issue, residents can visit the webpage and choose a category that best reflects their request. Once a category is chosen, residents identify the location and add a photo and any additional details before submitting.

Categories include Animal Control, Building Department, Health, Public Works and Town Manager. An “Other” category is also available for which town staff will ensure the submission is assigned to the appropriate department for follow-up.

Residents must create an account to submit a request. Once a request is submitted, the user will receive an email acknowledging the submission. The status of the issue can then be monitored online and the user will receive another email when the work is complete or the issue is resolved.

Residents should note that the online system is not monitored 24/7. Issues related to public safety or that require immediate attention — such as wires or tree limbs down, double-parked cars, etc. — should be reported directly to the Bridgewater Police Department’s non-emergency line at 508-697-6118 or the Bridgewater Fire Department’s non-emergency line at 508-697-0900.

SeeClickFix is also available for download as an app.
