The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center
650 Dudley St.
Boston, MA 02125
WHAT:
The non-profit’s annual Boston Christmas Castle distribution will assist at least 5,000 pre-registered families in need during a three-day distribution event. Each year, the event makes the holiday season brighter for thousands of Boston-area individuals and their family members who are struggling financially.
When visiting the Christmas Castle event, many families have used the opportunity to speak with a Salvation Army Officer or Social Worker for guidance and support. To ensure visitors who are interested in taking advantage of this offering, The Salvation Army will continue to have trained staff available for families in need of social services who may be struggling to stay in their homes or put a meal on the table due to job loss or the impacts of the pandemic or inflation.
As inflation drives the cost of living higher, millions of Americans face the growing threat of poverty and the inability to provide for themselves or their families during the holidays. The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division is a critical resource and part of the safety net for these populations across every zip code in Massachusetts.
