MERRIMAC – The Town of Merrimac is pleased to welcome new Highway Superintendent Vincent Mitrano and would like to announce that the Town is actively seeking a Department of Public Works (DPW) Director.
Highway Superintendent Vincent Mitrano has extensive experience in the field and recently worked for the Town of Andover. He is replacing Tom Barry who recently retired after more than a decade of service with the Town of Merrimac.
The Town of Merrimac is also seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of DPW Director.
Starting salary is $87,000-$108,000 depending on experience and requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Five years progressive managerial experience in public works, highway construction and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Water and Wastewater licenses preferred.
- Demonstrated successful experience and skills in areas of public works, construction, engineering, and personnel management.
