LITTLETON — Littleton Public Schools and the Town of Littleton would like to inform the community that two U.S. Army helicopters will be visiting Littleton High School on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Littleton High School is part of the aviation display tour of high schools, which the Army is coordinating ahead of the Army-Navy game. The helicopter display is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7 between 10 a.m. and noon. Attendance is limited to Littleton High School students, staff members, and invited guests.
One of the visiting pilots is Army Major Mark Cavallo, LHS Class of 2005, who will also pilot a helicopter over Gillette Stadium before the Army-Navy Game on Dec. 9.
This event will offer high school students and staff members a unique opportunity to witness the impressive capabilities of Army aviation up close and speak with the pilots and military officers. In addition, representatives from the local U.S. Army recruiting office will be available to provide information and engage with students who may be interested in exploring opportunities with the Army.
