HAMPTON – Superintendent Lois Costa is thrilled to share that Hampton Academy and Adeline C. Marston Elementary School have been recognized as part of the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Middle and Elementary Schools.
U.S. News released its 2024 Best Middle Schools and Best Elementary Schools rankings on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Hampton Academy was ranked 19th out of 270 middle schools in the state of New Hampshire, placing the school in the top 7 percent in the state.
Marston School was ranked 21st out of 439 elementary schools in the state of New Hampshire, placing it in top 5 percent in the state.
Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation rates, and how well they prepare their students for high school. Schools ranked in the top 40% nationally achieve status as a U.S. News Best Middle or Elementary School.
“All of us within the Hampton School District are extremely proud to see that Hampton Academy and Adeline C. Marston Elementary have both been recognized as two of the best schools in the state of New Hampshire,” said Superintendent Costa. “Thank you to our staff, students, and school community members, whose dedication is a key factor to our schools’ continuing success.”
