Town of Newbury Welcomes Two New Members of Administrative Team

NEWBURY – Town Administrator Tracy Blais is pleased to announce that the Town’s administrative team has been strengthened with the hiring of two new employees.

Eva Pastor has been named Town Accountant/Assistant Finance Director, while Jon Temple has been selected as IT Director.

Pastor has worked for seven years as Junior Accountant for the City of Methuen, performing numerous tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. She previously worked in private-sector positions. Pastor currently serves on the Finance Committee in her hometown of North Andover.

Pastor holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Northern Essex Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Merrimack College, and a working toward a Master’s degree in Accounting, also from Merrimack College.

Temple brings eight years of private-sector experience to Newbury, working with a variety of internet technology companies on all IT facets. He most recently worked with Hornblower Group, Inc

Temple holds Associate’s degrees in Information Technology and Computer Applications from Northern Essex Community College as well as related certificates.
