WOBURN – Joyce Middle School is pleased to share that the Joyce Xchange is celebrating its fourth year of collecting and providing various items to help Joyce students and families in need.
The Joyce Xchange has been providing food, toiletries, clothing and footwear to students and families in need since 2020.
The Xchange, which is open throughout the school year, is operated by the Joyce Middle School guidance department, and student volunteers help to keep it neat and organized. The school hosts multiple student donation drives during the school year to build up the Xchange’s offerings.
To request assistance, students go to a trusted teacher or guidance counselor. Members of the guidance department then accompany students to the Xchange.
“Over the past few years, the Joyce Xchange has grown bigger and bigger through the support and donations of students and staff,” said Principal Qualey. “It is amazing to see how our school community goes above and beyond to help those in need, and the Joyce Xchange is just one example of their immense generosity.”
Members of the Joyce school community who may need assistance are encouraged to reach out to a trusted staff member or their guidance counselor.
