BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher D. Delmonte is pleased to announce that the Bridgewater Police Department will host a women’s self-defense class next month.
WHEN:
Thursday, Nov. 2, and Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6-9 p.m.
WHERE:
Bridgewater Senior Center, 10 Wally Krueger Way.
WHAT:
“Introduction to Women’s Self-Defense” is a progressive two-week course instructed by Retired Bridgewater Police Captain Carl H. MacDermott III and Bridgewater Police Lieutenant Scott R. Hile.
Women ages 15 or older are encouraged to sign up and learn the best techniques to protect themselves through demonstrations and interactions between students and their instructors.
The cost of the course is $25, with all proceeds going to EasterSeals Massachusetts. To register, email Rebekah Caylor at rebekah@bpd5k.com.
