NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH – Superintendent John Antonucci and Athletic Director Nick Schlierf are pleased to announce that Ashley Kepaa has been appointed as North Attleborough Public Schools’ new Girls Basketball Program Leader and Varsity Head Coach.
Kepaa will begin her new role on Oct. 1. Prior to joining the North Attleborough school district, Kepaa served as a head coach for multiple girls’ basketball programs in the area.

Under her leadership, the Girls Varsity Basketball team qualified for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association’s (MIAA) Division 2 tournament each season. The team also had its best season starting record (14-0) in school history and was named as dual County League Champions during her first season serving as head coach.
Kepaa has also served as the Head Coach for the Select Under Armor Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and Mass Premier AAU. She also served as the Director of Operations for Mass Premier AAU and as an Association Senior Director for the School Aged Program for the Hockomock Area YMCA.
Kepaa graduated from North Attleborough High School in 2009 before going on to attend Castleton State University. While at North Attleborough High, she was a member of the girls’ basketball team.
“I couldn’t be more proud to see one of our former student-athletes return as a coach at their alma mater,” said Athletic Director Schlierf. “Her dedication, passion and love for basketball have come full circle, and we’re thrilled to have her back to inspire and guide the next generation of athletes at our high school.”
Added North Attleborough High School Principal Peter Haviland, “We are thrilled to welcome Ashley Kepaa as our new head coach. Ashley brings a vast knowledge of basketball and a strong dedication to excellence. We are confident that her leadership will have a positive impact on our student-athletes and the entire school community as we embark on this exciting new journey together.”
