Town of East Bridgewater Encourages Residents to Complete State Community Health Equity Survey

Town Administrator Charles Seelig and the Town of East Bridgewater encourage residents to take the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) Community Health Equity Survey.

EAST BRIDGEWATER — Town Administrator Charles Seelig and the Town of East Bridgewater encourage residents to take the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) Community Health Equity Survey.

To take the survey, click here.

The Community Health Equity Survey aims to help communities address barriers to health and was developed in collaboration with residents and community partners across the state. The information gathered from the survey will help DPH and community partners determine how best to allocate funding, improve programming and develop policies to address health inequities.

This survey will ask questions about respondents’ access to basic needs like health care and transportation, physical and mental health and wellbeing, experiences with COVID-19, and experiences with housing, education and work.

At the end of the survey, respondents will find a link to resources to help connect them with things like food and economic assistance, mental health and substance use services, and parenting resources.

The survey is intended to be completed by Massachusetts residents age 14 and older. It will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete and is available online in 11 languages. All survey responses are anonymous.

The survey is offered by the Bureau of Community Health and Prevention’s Community Health Equity Initiative (CHEI), which aims to understand the social and structural causes of health in Massachusetts to support community, state, and local action. For more information about the Community Health Equity Initiative and the survey, visit mass.gov/chei.
