The Town of Maynard will open a self-service kayak rental station, the first of its kind in Massachusetts. The Town has partnered with Rent.Fun, a recreation equipment rental company that operates in 10 states.

The station fully self-service. Renters pay for rentals via their smartphone, which unlocks a kayak from a locker.

Media members interested in attending the ceremony are asked to contact Tom Zuppa at tom@jgpr.net.
