CANTON — Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeffrey Sperling are pleased to announce that Canton High School seniors were awarded a total of $213,850 in scholarships at the 2023 Annual Scholarship Night.
The Annual Scholarship Night event was held on Tuesday, May 23, at Canton High School’s Morse Auditorium.
Principal Sperling opened the event with remarks followed by Assistant Superintendent Sarah Shannon and School Committee member Kimberly McCourt. Director of Counseling Meredith Chamberland was the Master of Ceremonies for the duration of the event.
In total, there were 73 seniors who were awarded scholarships. Scholarship recipients’ families attended the event to show their support as well as many members of the community who were there to present scholarships.
“I would like to congratulate each and every student who received a scholarship,” said Principal Sperling. “Your accomplishments are not only a reflection of your own hard work, but also a testament to the guidance and devotion provided by our dedicated teachers and your supportive families.”
