SOMERSET — Chief Todd Costa reports that the Somerset Police Department arrested two people on various charges and seized a significant amount of drugs on Friday.
KYLE PELLETIER, AGE 24, OF SOMERSET, was arrested and charged with:
- Drug Trafficking Class B Cocaine 100 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws
- Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
JULIAN BIANCHI, AGE 25, OF SOMERSET, was arrested and charged with:
- Drug Trafficking Class B Cocaine 100 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws
- Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
At about 3:19 a.m. on Friday, April 7, the Somerset Police Detective Division, comprised of DetectiveLt. Jason Matos, Detective Sgt. Nicholas Davidson, and Detectives James Cardella, Donald Cormier, and Michael DeMoranville, executed a search warrant at an apartment at 412 High St., with assistance from Somerset patrol officers Eli Fishbein and Joseph Bois, as part of an ongoing investigation.
Somerset Police seized an estimated 105 grams of what is believed to be cocaine, a 30-round large-capacity feeding device, 72 rounds of ammunition, and $7,448 in cash.
PELLETIER and BIANCHI were arrested at the scene.
PELLETIER and BIANCHI were scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in Fall River District Court.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
