Taunton Officials Invite Community to Attend Live Telephone Town Hall Meeting on Proposed Public Safety Facility Project

Wednesday, March 29 from 6-7 p.m. 

WHERE:

The meeting will be held via phone or online via audio streaming link.

WHAT:

During the meeting, Taunton residents will be able to learn about the proposed public safety facility project and ask questions about the project and the upcoming Special Election to be held on April 29, 2023.

Panelists for the Town Hall Meeting will include Mayor O’Connell, Chief Walsh, Chief Bradshaw, Chief Financial Officer Patrick Dello Russo, Elections Director Pam Menconi, Project Manager Dan Pallotta and architects from Caolo & Bieniek.

Taunton residents will receive a call on their landline from the Mayor’s office shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29. If interested in joining the live Town Hall Meeting, residents should stay on the line.

Residents will also have the option of dialing into the meeting at 877-229-8493, PIN 120370. Callers will have the option to follow prompts to submit a question to the panelists. Please note, callers will speak with screeners; they will not be on “live” with panelists.

Additionally, an audio streaming link is available for residents interested in listening online, here. 

Residents may also submit questions to the panelists via the streaming link, which will be available on the City’s Facebook page.

City residents may submit questions prior to the meeting by emailing questions to SafetyFirst@taunton-ma.gov. Questions regarding the telephone Town Hall Meeting can be directed to the Mayor’s Office at 508-821-1000.
