Stoughton Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident

STOUGHTON — Chief Donna M. McNamara reports that the Stoughton Police Department is investigating an incident where shots were fired Sunday night. 

On Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8:09 p.m., the Stoughton Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired in the rear of Price Rite, located at 666 Washington St.

Upon arrival, officers initiated an on-scene investigation through which they learned that the reported gunshots may have stemmed from a confrontation between two men. Officers subsequently located two shell casings at the scene. 

Stoughton Police are not aware of anyone who was injured as a result of the shots fired.

The incident remains under active investigation at this time and no further information is currently available.
