AVON — Town Administrator Gregory Enos and Health Agent Kathleen Waldron are pleased to announce that the Town of Avon will be hosting a community flu clinic later this month.
WHEN:
Tuesday, Oct. 18 from noon to 4 p.m.
WHERE:
Mary McDermott Meeting Room, Avon Town Hall, 65 East Main St.
WHAT:
Anyone over the age of 9 years old will be able to receive a flu shot at the clinic. A high-dose flu shot will be available to anyone over the age of 65.
The clinic is open to the public. You do not need to be an Avon resident to attend the clinic, and there is no appointment needed.
Those interested are asked to bring an updated insurance card with them. For anyone over 65, bring a Medicare Part B card. All insurance carriers are accepted. There is no cost if you have insurance and bring your insurance card with you. Out-of-pocket cost is $36.88 for the quadrivalent shot and $81.76 for the high dose.
