Dighton’s Parks and Recreation Commission to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Newly Completed North Dighton Playground

DIGHTON —  Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Kevin Smith is pleased to announce that the Parks and Recreation Commission will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of the grand opening of the newly completed North Dighton playground.

Sunday, Oct. 9 beginning at noon

WHERE:

North Dighton Playground, 689 School St., North Dighton

WHAT:

The Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission invites community members to join the Commission to kick off the grand opening of the new North Dighton Playground at its upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

Community members are encouraged to stop by and check out everything the new playground has to offer. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the Parks and Recreation commissioners, including Chairman Smith and commissioners Suzanne Cote and Rachel Goulart, who will be speaking at the event.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and learn more about upcoming events the Parks and Recreation Commission will be hosting.
