LAWRENCE — Chief Executive Officer Carina Pappalardo and the staff and guests of The Psychological Center would like to thank those who supported an in-person fundraiser for the non-profit’s substance use and homelessness programs.

The Psychological Center held the event on Wednesday, Sept. 14 — its first in-person fundraiser since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic more than two years ago.

The event, featuring This Ain’t Your Momma’s Music Bingo, raised $10,000 and also helped raise awareness of around the clock treatment and services happening at Daybreak Shelter, Pegasus House, and Women’s View, according to Liz Bakinowski, Director of Development.

“It was wonderful to be able to get back out and see friends and supporters in person, especially at Salvatore’s, a beautiful location on the Merrimack River that reminds us how far Lawrence has come,” said CEO Pappalardo. “Our work to ensure everyone in Lawrence shares in the city’s success continues, though, and the support from those who attended will help us continue to change lives, save lives, and help those who are struggling.”

Special thanks go to Dancing Queen level sponsors: Eagle Investigation Services (EIS) Inc., Enterprise Bank, Just Build It, Comfort Home Care, and Cook & Company Real Estate.

Additional thanks go to Hit the Floor Level Sponsors: LukeJackson Corp., CommSat, and the Breakfast Exchange Club of Greater Haverhill.
