LAWRENCE — Chief Executive Officer Carina Pappalardo is pleased to announce that The Psychological Center, Inc., will host an in-person fundraiser later this month, its first since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

WHEN:

Thursday, Sept. 15, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Salvatore’s, 354 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA

WHAT:

The Psychological Center, Inc., which operates the Daybreak Shelter, Women’s View, and Pegasus House in Lawrence, is partnering with This Ain’t Your Mama’s Bingo – Music Bingo to host a fun and competitive fundraiser. Proceeds will assist programs focusing on the homeless and those battling substance misuse and mental health challenges.

During the games, organizers will not call out letters and numbers as in traditional bingo but will play short clips from songs. Players must identify the song and mark it on their card.

The event will feature a pizza bar, cash bar, raffles, and and a dessert buffet.

Tickets are $50 each. Sponsorship packages are available at levels from $250 to $1,000. For more information on being a sponsor, and the benefits of sponsorship, click here.

“The COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased the need for our services, but also prevented us from meeting in person to raise funds and form relationships with community partners, so we could not be more excited to get back together in person to continue our work for those in the community who are struggling,” said Chief Executive Officer Pappalardo. “We invite any individual or organization from the Greater Lawrence community who would like to contribute to creating structured pathways to aid those suffering from substance misuse disorder or homelessness to join us and have some musical fun while also funding a good and vastly important cause.”
